The perfect view from your home

The Residence 9 window system is designed to replicate 19th Century timber windows, but fuses traditional aesthetics with modern materials to create a window that is both elegant and energy efficient.

The perfectly flush exterior recreates a true timber alternative aesthetic, whilst the interior is stylishly decorative, creating a classic home feel. The modern material is virtually maintenance free; no painting or staining required. Cleaning your windows needs minimum effort meaning they look newer for longer, leaving you time to do more of the things you love.

Residence 9 windows outperform many other window systems due to the combination of sophisticated design, innovation and technological advancements. You can choose from highly efficient double or triple glazed units, attaining U-values of 0.8 with triple glazing, PassivHaus Standard, and 1.2 with double glazing, far surpassing the British Building Regulation requirements. All off this contributes to lower energy bills, keeping you cosy in the winter and cool in the summer.

Residence 9 windows are designed to suit properties from old to new and you can create them entirely to your own taste or to suit your property. We offer a huge variety of colours, hardware options, and features such as Georgian Bar and butt hinges, that will make your Residence 9 windows completely unique and add a touch of elegance to your home.

“But I live in a conservation area?”

Trying to replace windows in a conservation area can be a lot of hassle. It can be especially frustrating when your weathered looking windows have missed their summer spruce up and are racking up your energy bills in winter.

Conservation rules are in place to keep the exterior of a property looking original, or to protect areas of architectural or historical interest. As far as the rules go, you’ll need to find a like for like replacement and get consent from your local council before you go ahead with installing the windows of your choice.

This is why KM Windows have the perfect solution with our Residence 9 system.

Residence 9 windows have an authentic and traditional design which has seen them rapidly accepted in conservation areas. On top of this they are created with modern materials making them highly efficient and saving you money on your energy bills in the long run.

R9 windows are designed to authentically replicate 19th century timber designs and satisfy Article 4 Conservation Areas.

They have a traditional flush exterior and a decorative interior, creating a classic look.

They come in an array of colour options, so you can personalise your windows or have them designed to imitate your existing windows.

Now for the twist:

They may look exactly like wood, but our R9 windows use modern, Pvc-u materials which means they outperform many other systems. They can accommodate triple or double glazed units and have market leading thermal and acoustic performance, keeping in the heat and out the noise.

You get the authentic look of traditional timber windows with the performance of modern day technology, without all the usual maintenance and fuss.
